Parking Restrictions
Parking on city streets is prohibited between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Tickets will be issued for violations. The reasons for these restrictions are aesthetics, public safety and the need for efficient snow removal, street sweeping and street repair.

Also, animals are not allowed to run at large and may be impounded if picked up. Feces left by an animal on any public or private property (other than his own) must be removed immediately. Not more than three (3) dogs and/or three (3) cats are allowed per household, unless the owner has applied for a kennel permit. Generally, the keeping of non-domesticated animals is prohibited.

The opeation of snowmobiles is allowed on designated trails within the city limits. A designated snowmobile trail is a trail that is maintained by a snowmobile club recognized by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. More than 24 miles of trails in Savage are maintained by Scott County Sno-Trails Inc. and supported by the Savage Sno-Pacers. Snowmobiles are allowed on designated trails when in compliance with other ordinances. More info.
