HAZARDOUS WASTE

Household hazardous waste must be disposed of properly to avoid endangering health and contaminating ground water. These wastes include, but are not limited to: solvents, household cleaners, pesticides, paint, wood preservatives, aerosols, batteries, automotive oil and antifreeze. The best way to handle the waste - except for those that are banned - is to use it or give it to someone who will. If those options are not available to you, please contact your county for collection information.
Sellers of automotive products may take automotive waste, perhaps for a fee. Check before bringing the waste in.
