In case of emergencies, or needs that arise in your area, the City of Savage maintains a Business Registry Form as a tool to help the municipality maintain contact with businesses. We cannot emphasize enough the importance of accurate contact information in case it is needed for fire, police, or water emergencies. DATA PRIVACY INFORMATION

1. You are being asked to provide information on the enclosed form for the purpose of expediting city services to your business.
2. Participation in the Business Registry program is strictly voluntary and you are not required by law to furnish any of the information requested on the form.
3. Supplying all the data on the form will help us to more effectively provide you and your business with services.
4. The following information requested on the Business Registry Form is classified as private data under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. Private data is that information which is available to you, but not to the public:
   • any reference to any hazardous substances on the premises;
   • any reference to alarm systems, or to alarm companies;
   • is there a dog on site for security purpose’s
   • names, addresses and phone numbers of persons listed on the Alternate/After Hours Phone Numbers
5. You should know that any of the information you provide, if classified as public data, may be provided to other entities and individuals. These entities and individuals may include other agencies or governmental units, or individuals requesting public information the City of Savage maintains on businesses, such as business name, address, phone number, or business owner.
