Residents of the City of Savage are served by two public transit entities:

Scott County Transportation Program

Transportation by mini-bus is provided every Monday afternoon for shopping and business errands within Savage (stops at Lynn Court and Hamilton Building). Medical transportation is scheduled on a pre-arranged basis as needed. There is a charge for this service.

Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA)

The City of Savage is served by 4 separate bus routes and a park and ride located at 141st Street and Huntington Avenue. Information on fares, schedules, routes, dial-a-ride and park-and-ride locations can be found at the MVTA web site.
