Savage is serviced by three independent public school districts:
Prior Lake - Savage District 719 Prior Lake - Savage District 719operates 14 schools and serves approximately 7,800 students. The district is home to six full-day Kindergarten through fifth grade elementary schools; one early childhood center, including Spanish Immersion; a school for gifted learners in grades 3 - 5; two middle schools for grades 6 - 8; an Area Learning Center for students in grades 9 - 12; and a high school serving students in grades 9 -12.
Burnsville-Eagan-Savage District 191 serves nearly 10,000 students in grades K - 12, and a community of nearly 100,000 with Community Education and Special Education programs. The district includes 10 elementary schools (K-5), three middle schools (grades 6-8), one high school (grades 9-12) and one alternative high school
Shakopee School District 720 serves nearly 8,000 students and in one of the fastest growing suburbs in the Twin Cities. The district is proud to serve a very diverse population of students and families with nearly 60 languages and dialects from around the world spoken in their schools.
