NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Vacation of Right-of-way
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held before the City Council of Savage on September 16, 2024, in the City Hall located at 6000 McColl Drive, Savage, MN at 7:00 p.m. to consider a proposed vacation of right-of-way legally described as:
A strip of land in the NW ¼ of SW ¼ and the South 311.0 feet of the SW ¼ of NW ¼ in Sec. 16-T115N-R21W; Scott Co., Minn. Said strip of land being 150 feet in width as a permanent right of way, together with a strip of land 75 feet on either side of said 150-foot strip for temporary slope easement as can be contained east of the west line of said NW ¼ of SW ¼ of NW ¼, all having a centerline described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said NW ¼ of SW ¼ and running thence north along the west line thereof a distance of 342.0 feet; thence deflecting to the right 25°00’ a distance of 189.79 feet to the actual point of beginning of said centerline to be described; thence continuing on last aforesaid tangent a distance of 399.78 feet. to the point of a curve to the left; thence on said curve to the left having a central angle of 50°00’ and a radius of 763.94 feet, an arc distance of 666.66 feet; thence on tangent to said curve a distance of 105 feet more or less to the north line of said South 311.0 feet of the SW ¼ of NW ¼ and there terminating for the purpose of this description. Containing 4.03 acres.
Temporary slope easement to expire two years from the date hereof.
