The City of Savage is a Step 5 in the Minnesota GreenStep Cities Program. This voluntary program helps cities achieve their sustainability and quality of life goals as well as provides assistance and recognition program when goals are met.

Electric Vehicles are part of the transition to a carbon-free community. In 2021, two dual-port charging stations which are open to the public were installed at City Hall. 

Location: 

• Savage City Hall 6000 McColl Drive 
• North parking lot near the City Hall entrance

Usage: 

• Open to the public 
• No connection fee, $1/hour of electricity 
• Level 2 Charging Stations allow a single 40 A circuit to be shared between two parking spaces.
