2021 Tax Levy
The Savage City Council will adopt the General Fund Budget and Property Tax Levy in December 2020.
- Total levy for 2022 - $20,036,957
- General Fund Levy - Supports public Safety, Public Works, Community Development, Parks and Recreation and General Government: $14 million
- Debt Service Levy - Supports long-term debt payments: $4.3 million
- Decrease from 2021: $244,541 (1.24% decrease)

2022 General Fund Budget
The General Fund is the general operating fund of the City and includes the activities of Police and Fire; general administration, including the Mayor and Council, the City administrators department, the City Attorney, Finance, Public Works, Community Development and Parks and Recreation.
Capital Improvement Plan
The 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan represents the City's proposed capital equipment and improvements for the next 10 years. The CIP is one of the City's primary planning documents and is developed to identify our community's capital needs. This document is also an important public policy statement and informs the general public of anticipated projects within their community.

The Government Financial Officers Association (GFOA) encourages state and local governments to prepare and issue a Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) of the highest quality.
