Savage Recycling Day

The annual Savage Recycling Day will be Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. – noon at Savage Community Park, 13500 Dakota Ave. This is a drop-off event where Savage and Credit River residents can dispose of appliances, electronics, furniture, yard waste, and other unwanted items for a reasonable fee.  

PLEASE NOTE: Bridging Inc. will not collect donations at Savage Recycling Day.  

  • Bring a valid driver’s license or another form of I.D. to prove Savage or Credit River residency 
  • No vehicles larger than a pickup truck 
  • No trailers larger than 8 X 12 feet 
  • Cash or check only (credit cards not accepted)

$30 per car load of garbage

(Discarded matter; refuse) Additional fee for other accepted items.

$50 per truck/trailer load of garbage

(Discarded matter; refuse) Additional fee for other accepted items.

Accepted Items

 Yard Waste Appliances - $10 each  Other - $10 each Electronic - $5 each (* items bundled)
 Consists of grass and leaf clippings that do not contain branches.

Branches can not be larger than 3 inches in diameter and 5 feet in length.

Household Hazardous Waste Facility

Many products in your home or garage can be hazardous to your family and the environment. In fact, Household Hazardous Waste can be any item from your home that is flammable, corrosive, toxic, poisonous, or reactive. Residential Drop Off Schedule:

  • Wednesday: Noon - 6 p.m.
  • Thursday: Noon - 4 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. - Noon
