The City of Savage has installed two brass plaques in prominent locations at City Hall and the Savage Library, displaying the City’s land acknowledgment adopted in 2023. The community is invited to attend the unveiling of the new land acknowledgment plaque at City Hall on Monday, November 4, at 6 p.m. The plaques will serve as a reminder to visitors who enter the buildings of the area’s rich Indigenous history and allow an opportunity to educate residents about their connection to the places that make up Savage. There will be a short program with light refreshments. We hope you will join us!
